PepperJam Network Merchant Update
Many Merchants on the PepperJam Affiliate Network are now going to redirect their products to the HayNeedle.com website and will no longer provide individual datafeeds to their products.
We recommend Nezie store owners to join the HayNeedle affiliate program under Pepperjam and re-populate their stores with similar products from HayNeedle and discontinue using merchants that will no longer provide individual datafeeds.
Please see the merchant list below that we will no longer be supporting on the Nezie system. Most of these merchants products can be found through the HayNeedle website so please go and edit your stores that are using these merchants and change the merchant to HayNeedle instead.
Nezie Membership Feature Comparison
As you already know, Nezie.com supports two levels of memberships - Free and Pro Memberships.

Note: This feature will be updated once a month as we are constantly rolling out new features and modules for both free and pro membership levels.
Nezie Store Verification
We have had many requests from our members to have a section where they can verify the ownership of their Nezie stores. We understand the need for this feature and have now added a function to your store template where you can insert codes to verify your ownership of a particular store.
HayNeedle Products Datafeed Added
We have added the affiliate product datafeed from HayNeedle.com to Nezie. HayNeedle is an affiliate merchant from PepperJam Affiliate Network.
Members can now add over 80,000 new products from HayNeedle to their Nezie stores. Please make sure you sign up for their affiliate program through PepperJam Network before you start promoting their products otherwise you won't get your referral commissions.
Nezie Store Directory
We have implemented a new directory system to showcase Nezie stores created by Nezie store owners. The stores are grouped in niche categories to make it easy to be discovered.
Nezie stores that are incomplete or just not up to snuff will not be added to this directory. It is solely up to us, the admins, to select and include the stores into the directory - there is no participation needed from store owners.
New stores are added to the directory daily and you can view these stores by visiting the Nezie Store Directory here.
My Products Module for Pro Members
We are excited to announce a special new module that is now only available to Pro or Paid members of Nezie.com. This new module is called the "My Products" module.
What does it do?
This module allows you to add your own products or an affiliate product from anywhere on the internet into your Nezie stores. With this feature, you are no longer restricted to offering only affiliate products that Nezie supports. You can now add any product from anywhere on the web into your Nezie stores - the products can be your own products from your own e-commerce stores or even affiliate products from merchants we don't support.
Nezie Member Stores Featured on Yahoo News and CNN Blogs
We are always grateful and excited when we receive great feedback and testimonials from our members. We get a lot of them and it makes us strive harder to add more features to Nezie to help our members build better stores, get more exposure and traffic and make more affiliate sales.
What is even better than getting your wonderful testimonials is when we learn that our members stores and some of their content are being featured on big news sites such as CNN and Yahoo.
We have recently learned of two Nezie stores that have been mentioned in 2 separate articles on CNN and Yahoo and I want to congratulate the store owners on creating great niche stores.
Susan's Herman Cain 2012 Shop recently got several thousand visitors in a single day to her product page after a product from her store was featured on several news sites including Yahoo News. Her store is ranked on the first page of Google for several keywords and it is ranked higher than the original site where her products are from.

Another recent feature is for the Gifts for Goths store by Melissa. Her store was recommended as an ideal destination to buy gifts for nerdy fashionistas on the CNN GeekOut Blog. Her store is truly unique and very niche and gets great organic search engine traffic.

Nezie Store Commenting System
This post explains how the Nezie store product commenting/reviewing system works.
Every store product detail page has a section where you and your store visitors can leave a review about the product being featured on that page. This section is usually at the bottom of every product detail page in every Nezie store.
If you or your page visitors would like to leave a review about the product they can easily fill in the details in this area. Good comments will give value to this page by providing more information for future visitors and also provide this page with more good content that the search engines love.
I will recommend store owners to use this comment system to add more value to their product pages. If you have more information about some products in your store then you should add it to these pages so future visitors can benefit from it. The search engines will also like it because you will be providing good reviews that are not available elsewhere and will make your page more unique.
Comment Moderation
When you or a user submits a comment on any page, the comments are not immediately added to that page. These reviews/comments first needs to be moderated by the store owner to remove SPAM and other negative comments.
How To Moderate Comments
When you login to your store Dashboard, you will notice any pending comments besides the listing of each store. Moderating these comments/reviews will allow you to add the good comments and remove the SPAM comments.
To moderate the comments, click on the "Manage" button beside each store that has pending comments. Once you are in that store management dashboard, click on the "Comments" link under the Settings tab.
Review each comment and approve or delete as needed. The comments you approve will be immediately added to the appropriate product page on your store and will be visible to any visitors.
Note:
This comment/review system can be very helpful for adding unique and relevant to each individual product pages in your store. Your page visitors will benefit from great reviews, the search engines will notice your unique content that is not available on other affiliate stores and can better rank that page against similar pages on the web.
Module Update:
We will be implementing a Captcha system to this module to prevent Spammers and automatic softwares from spamming it. The new Captcha system should be available on every page within a week.
Using Social Sites to Promote your Nezie Stores
To get more traffic and sales to your Nezie stores it is recommended that you promote your stores through social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other popular sites.
Adding your links and introducing your friends and followers to your new store on these sites will give your store exposure and backlinks. Every site online needs to get as much exposure as possible from various other sites to help bring visitors and get backlinks to better position their site on the search engines.
Once you have completed a new store, I suggest you announce it on Twitter, Facebook and Google+ to name a few. Add a small note and a link to your store so your readers and search engine crawlers can visit and explore your new store.
An easy way to do this is to use the social share buttons available on every store - click on the Facebook Like button on your store and on the other social buttons of sites you may be a member of. This is a quick way to spread the word about your store.
The search engines are also looking at how many social shares your site has and give more importance to sites that are shared by a lot of people. The more people that Facebook Like, tweet or G+ your store the more the search engine will give importance to your store and better position it on their search results. So you may also ask your friends to help the spread the word and social like your stores.




Captcha System for Store Comments
We have installed a Captcha System on all product detail pages on every Nezie store. Visitors wanting to leave a comment on your store page will now have to also enter the captcha code before they can submit their comments. We hope this will help reduce the number of Spam comments on member stores.
